Preheat 350F. Mix cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Pour into greased and floured 9x13" baking pan; level. Separately, mix 3 eggs with remaining cake ingredients. Pour over first layer in baking pan; spread to level.
Topping
1 cup reserved yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter; softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup mixed nuts; chopped
Cut butter into cake mix. Add sugar and nuts. Sprinkle over second layer in baking pan. Bake 50-55 minutes.
