Robyn Baker's recipe - family favourite
In a saucepan, mix sugars, butter, dried fruit and water. Boil for 10 minutes, add bi-carb soda and let cool (will fizz up to double volume)
Add sifted flours, eggs, cinnamon, glace fruit and crushed nuts (optional)
Cook at 180 degrees C for 65 minutes in one tin or 25 min as medium sized muffins
Can be frozen, maximum double mix (due to fizzing after bi-carb added)
