Suggest a better descriptionSeason the ribs with salt & pepper. Heat the vegetables oil in a pot with a lid over high heat. Brown the ribs on all sides. Remove the ribs from the pot.
Return the pot to the stove, and sauté the garlic and ginger on medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add the ribs, beer, vinegar and water to the pot. Stir and then cover and simmer for two hours.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Pour the Hoisin Sauce over the ribs, move the pot to the oven, and cook, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
Remove ribs and ginger from sauce and pour remaining sauce over the ribs for extra flavor.
