breadmachine cinnamon rolls

very easy, let the breadmachine does all the hard work of kneading.


135 ml milk
40 g butter
300 g plain/bread flour
40 g sugar
2 g (1/4tsp) salt
1 egg
35 ml water
5 g (1 1/4 tsp) instant dried yeast
170 g brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
90 g softened butter
150 g icing sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice

Original recipe makes 9 Servings



Put all the dough ingredients into the breadmachine.

Select the pizza or dough function of the breadmachine. Press START.

When the breadmachine has worked its magic, dust a surface with flour and roll out the dough to a large rectangle.

Spread the softened butter all over the dough then sprinkle with brown sugar, finally add a good layer of cinnamon.

Roll the dough so you have one long sausage and pinch the edges to seal them.

Cut into 9 equal slices and arrange in a greased and flour baking pan.

Bake for 20 - 25 mins until browned at 190°C

Allow to cool for a few minutes, whilst it is cooling mix together icing sugar and lemon juice plus enough water to make a thick sauce. Drizzle all over the warm rolls. If they are still warm the drizzle will soak in,
