Suggest a better descriptionSaute onions and chopped vegetables in olive oil and butter until softened. Add chicken broth, pepper, garlic, apple cider vinegar and brown sugar. Simmer 20-30 minutes. Add in 1 cup parmesian cheese OR 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and the 1/2 cup of milk and heat through. ** you will not taste vinegar or sugar, but the soup will have a very delicious tastey tang to it that keeps you coming back for more . (The vinegar is balanced out with the sugar and really adds a lot to this soup - its my secret ingredient !.)
