"Very tasty! Altered the recipe a little (based on the ingredients I had @ the moment). I omitted the dry mustard @ replaced the white pepper with dried cayenne pepper. I also used ground up kosher salt & applied Pam to both sides of the fish. Before cooking, I allowed the fish to "marinade" for about 15 minutes"

Ingredients

SEASONING MIX
2/3 ts Salt
1/2 ts Paprika
1/2 ts Onion powder
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1/3 ts Garlic powder
1/3 ts White pepper
1/3 ts Ground cumin
1/3 ts Dried basil
1/3 ts Dried Oregano
1 1/3 ds Black pepper
1 1/3 ds Dried thyme
FISH
4 Talapia fillets
Vegetable cooking spray

Preparation

Combine the seasonings mix ingredients in a small bowl. Sprinkle each side of each fillet evenly with 1/2 teaspoon of this mixture. Preheat a 10-inch skillet over high heat to 400?, about 5 minutes. Spray the top side of each fillet evenly with vegetable cooking spray. Place the fillets, two at a time (sprayed side down), in the skillet, reduce the heat to medium, and cook 2 minutes. Turn the fillets over and cook until done, about 2 minutes more. Remove the cooked fillets, wipe the skillet clean, bring the heat back to 400?, and repeat the process with the remaining fillets. Quick and healthy for you dieters! I rub the fillets with olive oil and then sprinkle seasonings. Then I put a bit of oil in a pan and cook them through in the pan - so fast and easy!

Loved it! Was a lil salty but I'm a lil heavy on measurements because I don't like ending up short :)

Nice blend of flavors! I also took the ds to mean tsp. I sauteed the tilapia in a tbsp of olive oil. We enjoyed it.

This was great! Fast, easy and healthy. I substituted catfish for the tilapia, which worked well. I took ds to mean teaspoon. I decreased the black pepper to 1/3 tsp. so it wouldn't be too spicy for my kids.

It was fast. I thought it would be more flavorful with the variety of seasonings. Rather, I thought it was quite bland.
