Fatty, rich, gourmet version of a classic sandwich
Caramelised Onion
1. Place all ingredients in a large fry pan on a low-medium heat
2. Cook for 45min stirring regularly
3. They are ready when they become dark coloured and soft
Sandwiches
1. Butter 2 slices of bread & place in sandwich press with butter side down
2. Spread 1 tablespoon of cream cheese on bread
3. Place 3 tablespoons caramelised onion on cream cheese
4. Add 2 tablespoons of grated Colby
5. Add 2 slices of Massdam (or Havarti)
6. Place top piece of bread, buttered on the grill side
7. Toast until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted
Enjoy with a cholesterol pill
