Cut bacon into 1/2"-inch pieces. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook bacon until fat renders and bacon pieces are separated. Add red pepper flakes to taste so they can cook in the bacon fat.
Add the cut brussel sprouts to the pan with the bacon. Cook, stirring frequently until the brussel sprouts are slightly browned. Add the chicken broth to steam sprouts until they are finished, and add a squeeze of lemon juice to brighten after removing the pan from heat.
