Bud's Barbecue Sauce

I love this on chicken and it's even better the second day.


8 ounce Tomato sauce
3 tablespoons Juice from brisket; optional or 1 teaspoon beef bouillion
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Onion powder
1/4 teaspoon Dry mustard
1 tablespoon Liquid smoke
1 tablespoon Pace's picante sauce; or a few dashes of hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon Lawry's seasoning salt
2 tablespoon Brown sugar
1 whole Bay leaf

Original recipe makes 8



Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and simmer for about an hour stirring occasionally until it reaches the desired consistancy. Remove bay leaf before serving.
