Mix sugar, milk, chocolate chips and ½ c margarine in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 8 min stir in vanilla and set aside to cool.
Mix crushed cookies, with ½ c of melted margarine. Spread in one 8x8 pan and one 9x13 pan to make crust. Cut ice cream into slices and then spread over crusts. Sprinkle with peanuts and then cover with chocolate sauce. Freeze for several hours.
Cut into squares to serve
