One Dish Meal
"I used pork liver in place of the chicken (I had it on hand) and my four kids all ate and liked it! :o)"
Heat shortening in skillet on medium heat. Add finely chopped livers and gizzards and brown. Add onion, celery, green pepper, garlic salt, pepper and cayenne. Mix well. Cover and cook on med. heat, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender. Add rice and mix lightly. Serve hot.
