Caramel and pecans just belong together. You'll really enjoy the sweet, nutty flavor. Trust us; they'll vanish quickly!
"Wow, were these good! Sweet not spicy. Very quick and easy to prepare. I made 4 times the amount called for and served them at Christmas...big success. Toss them real well so all the pecans get covered."
Melt butter in small skillet over medium-high heat and add sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Stir constantly until sugar loses grainy appearance, about 5 minutes. Pour nuts onto sheet of aluminum foil and let cool about 15 minutes.
Store up to 2 days in airtight container.
Yields 1/2 cup pecans.
sarahyellow 4y agoThis recipe does not work. Following your measurements and directions, the pecans become a burned, smoking mess in under a minute. I would reccomed to others that they use more sugar, less (if any) cinnamon, and A LOT more butter. But I would advise NO ONE to the above recipe.
jmschaub 4y agoEither the instrcution, ingredients are lacking or something is generally wrong here. Medium High heat with that little of butter and stuff end up making a smoking mess.
