In a medium sized bowl, sift flour with baking sugar. Ginger, cinnamon, salt and cloves.
Beat butter in large bowl until creamy. Gradually add-in brown sugar, then break in and in the molasses until well blended. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture.
Refrigerate until firm enough to handle approximately one hour, or preferably overnight.
Preheat oven to three twenty five in sheep in the one of the half inch balls and rolling granulated sugar. you can use and vanilla sugar mixed in the regular sugar. bake on angry sheet. bake eight to ten minutes. check often.
