Suggest a better descriptionpreheat oven to 425 degrees. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt. Cut in the butter until the dough resembles coarse meal then toss in cheese. Whisk egg and buttermilk, then mix gently with flour mixture to form a soft dough. Turn the dough out onto floured surface and pat into a large round. Cut into 2 1/2" rounds and place onto baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes till golden.
