Suggest a better description1. Mix yeast with sugar and 2 tablespoons extra water. Cover and allow to stand until frothy, approximately 10 minutes.
2. Mix flour, salt and herbs.
3. Add yeast mixture, water and oil, and mix into a soft dough.
4. Turn on to a lightly floured surface and knead until dough is smooth and elastic.
5. Return dough to mixing bowl, cover and prove in warm place until it has doubled in size.
6. Turn to floured surface, knead and the roll into a oblong shape.
7. Sprinkle cheese and bacon on to dough and roll up into a Swiss roll.
8. Coil into ring pan or on to oven tray. Seal ends, with sharp knife making 8 small cuts on top of ring.
9. Prove in warm place, until doubled in size.
10. Glaze loaf with milk, and bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to oven 180 degrees and continue baking for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
11. Allow to cool
Parsley and chives are a great combination.
It should sound hollow if you tap it.
Don't forget to user oven to 200 degrees celsius.
