Cheese Ball with Marinated Dried Tomatoes

1/2 c Coarsely chopped pine nuts
1 (7 oz) jar oil-packed dried
Tomatoes; drained
1 Clove garli
Or almonds; toasted
3 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese
2 ts Dried basil

Original recipe makes 6 Gifts



Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add first 4 ingredients. Process until smooth. Cover and chill at least 3 hours. Shape 1/2 cup mixture into a boil; roll in toasted pine nuts or almonds, pressing gently to make nuts adhere. Repeat procedure with remaining mixture and nuts. Wrap each ball in plastic wrap. Chill. Yield 6 (1/2-cup) gifts. Directions for gift card: Store Cheese Ball with Marinated Dried Tomatoes in refrigerator up to 5 days. Serve with unsalted crackers.
