Traditional Cheese Sause


2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cheese; grated

Original recipe makes 2



Heat saucepan and melt Butter remove from heat.

Add flour and salt and blend.

Add milk.

Return on low heat whilst stirring constantly until it thickens.

Add cheese and continue stirring until melted.

Then Completed for desired dish of your choice.

Felt like eating pasta, but I didn't had any tomato sauce at hand. This was a tasteful alternative. I didn't add any salt though, because cheese and butter already contain lots of salt. Added some Gorgonzola to spice it up.

Super easy to execute....results were a wonderful non grainy sauce that will become my new go to recipe. I doubled the recipe and used equal parts cream and milk which made it extra velvety! Thanx so much for the post!
