simple yet yummy casserole perfect for church potluck & family gatherings
1. Cook rice per directions on package (typically 2 c water to a cup of rice for 20 mins in a rice cooker).
2. Meanwhile sauté onions & bell pepper in butter, add broccoli, cook till bright green then turn off the heat.
3. When rice is done, stir in soup (stir thoroughly), add the veggies & stir some more.
4. Add cheese & stir in till melted.
5. Warm in the oven till ready to serve.
Option 1 Use chicken broth to make the rice
Option 2 Add shredded cheese to the top before warming in the oven
Make sure to stir the soup into the rice well before adding any other ingredients.
