YUMMY!! A lot of work for brussel sprouts but oh so good!!
Cut an "x" into the base of all of the sprouts and cook for 7-9 minutes. Once they have cooled, cut them in half. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour. Cook and stir for about 1 minute. Add milk and continue to stir for 3-5 minutes. Stir in mustard, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Remove from the heat and add ? of the cheese and stir until it is well mixed. Add the sprouts.
In a greased baking dish, place the sprouts and the remaining cheese on top and bake at 375? for 30 minutes the broil for 2 minutes.
A lot of work for just sprouts!!
