Creamy and cheesy, this corn dish is perfect for parties or a winter side dish.

"I would have like to known what size pan to use and if you drain the corn before you mixed it. I am making it to bring to my work Thanksgiving party so I made it a week before to try out the recipe, it was wonderful but I made it in too small of a pan and didn't drain the corn so it took longer and still wasn't as good as I know it could be. But overall this is a wonderful dish!"

Ingredients

Are you making this? 
1 12-oz can Corn kernels
1 12-oz can Creamed corn
1 8.5-oz package Jiffy Corn muffin mix
1 cup Sour cream
1/2 cup Butter; melted
1 cup Cheddar cheese

Original recipe makes 6

Servings  

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350.

2. Mix all of the ingredients, except for the cheese.

3. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

4. Remove and add the cheddar cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted.

Notes

I brought this to a Thanksgiving party and 4 people wanted the recipe.

Easy quick and taste great. I added a bag of Mexican cornbread mix to spice it up and cheese in mix them baked it...added extra cheese on top after it came out of oven!

I added a little sugar, like some posts suggested, and it was perfect.

Ok... We used creams chicken instead of cream of corn. Improved it a ton. Mozzarella works better than cheddar.

The kids loved it / I liked it a lot but it's not necessarily healthy so lost a star on that - added the sugar as recommended and cooked uncovered. The kids asked for seconds and they are eating leftovers / that's rare!
