Cheesy meatballs with spaghetti
"I used Italian seasonings instead of basil and doubled the recipe by adding Italian sausage along with the ground beef. These were absolutely delicious! I usually don't like meatballs because they are dry. Not these! Very moist! "
1. Combine meat, egg, cheese, onion and basil. Season and roll into balls.
2. Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan. Cook half the meatballs for 4-5 minutes. Remove and repeat.
3. Return the meatballs to the pan and pour over sauce. Cover, cook over a medium heat for 20 minutes until cooked through.
4. Cook spaghetti in a large pan of boiling water, as per packet directions. Drain and place in bowl. Spoon over meatballs and sauce. Serve with basil leaves.

Nwalthour 1 month agoI have always been intimidated by making homemade meatballs. This recipe was so easy and incredibly delicious. My whole family loved it! The only thing I changed was, I used 1 pound of ground beef and half a pound of mild Italian ground sausage.

kpcolville 9 months agoFirst time I've ever made meatballs and they were a hit! I think I made them a bit too big, but I followed another user's advice to bake them in the oven and they turned out great! I used a sundried tomato, garlic and basil sauce with them.
