"I used Italian seasonings instead of basil and doubled the recipe by adding Italian sausage along with the ground beef. These were absolutely delicious! I usually don't like meatballs because they are dry. Not these! Very moist! "- tracyboyle

kpcolville 3 months agoFirst time I've ever made meatballs and they were a hit! I think I made them a bit too big, but I followed another user's advice to bake them in the oven and they turned out great! I used a sundried tomato, garlic and basil sauce with them.

PJL1980 5 months agoAfter you brown the meatballs put them in a baking dish pour sauce over them cover and bake. It distributes the flavor into the sauce and your meatballs stay juicy. Cook for about 15-20 min on 350
Jbloom45 6 months agoIt was easy to make however correction: don't use medium heat for the sauce for twenty min. It burns the sauce. True story. Lesson learned. Your better off microwaving the pasta sauce instead.

starlight289 10 months agoI made this for my best friend and family. I got great reviews. My hubby has asked me serve times to make this again.
DrieStone 1 year agoThey came out ok the first time, but I made the meatballs about 2' in diameter. After cooking the meatballs (for maybe 10 minutes) in the frying pan I cut one open to take a look and the center was still uncooked. I ended up putting them in the oven for 10-15 minutes after that. I don't think cooking in the sauce would have been enough to cook my meatballs. I also think that they need more cheese. Maybe twice as much.
