Suggest a better descriptionIn medium saucepan, combine broth, potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery. Bring to boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 min or until vegetables are tender. Using back of a fork, slightly mash potatoes against side of saucepan. In custard cup, stir together ? c. of milk and cornstarch until smooth. Stir cornstarch mixture into broth mixture. Add remaining milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 more min. Slowly stir in cheese. Cook and stir until just melted.
