Try this Cheesy Potato Soup recipe, or contribute your own.
Boil potatoes until tender. Set aside, reserving 2 cups of the water. Saute onion in butter until tender. In large saucepan, add milk, potato water, bacon grease, onion and butter, crumbled bacon, soup, sour cream and Velveeta. Simmer all together until cheese is melted. Add potatoes. Plinko85 2y agoFantastic! I added Broccoli and shredded Cheddar Cheese. I also reduced the amount of Onion. Would definitely make this again.

Kt9960 4y agoVery good! I used regular white American cheese because I couldn't make it to the store but can't wait to try it a different way.
dennis22 6y agoIt was great! However, added the full 2 pounds of velveeta, some shallots, and also put in 3 cans of green chillies. The 2 pounds of cheese was a little much but other than that it was great!
Presidentialsweet 7y agoWas the perfect consistency. Just like in a restaurant. My husband and I served with a salad. Even the kids loved it. I added extra bacon. My husband said it would taste good w/ brocolli in it too! Next time!
