Great quick noodle dish

1 medium Onion; finely chopped
2 tbs Butter
2 tbs Flour
1 cup milk
1 cup Cheddar cheese; grated
1 can Tuna
salt and pepper; to taste
Garlic; to taste
bunch Egg noodles

Original recipe makes 4

Bring a pot of water to a boil and add egg noodles. Cook according to package directions.

Finely chop the onion and lightly fry. Set aside.

In fry pan melt the buttter and over medium heat add the flour. Stir to form a paste.

Add the milk and stir until smooth.

Add the grated cheese and stir in.

Add the tuna, blend into cheese sauce mixture, then add the reserved onions, cooked noodles, salt, pepper and garlic. Cood for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot.

Other seafood could be substituted for the tuna.

When in the mood for noodles and not much time this makes a good dinner. Most kids like it to.

Had to add about 1/4 cup more milk but good and faster than putting in oven for 45 mins like other recipes. Very good

I added mushrooms and peppers too...

This was really really good. It could use something with a crunch in it, but still good without it.

Good and easy. I used shallots to cover both onion and garlic instead and turned out great
