cherry gelatin salad with cream cheese topping


2 3-oz pkg cherry jello
2 cup boiling water
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 cup pecans; chopped
Cream Cheese Topping:
1 8-oz pkg cream cheese; softened
1/2 pint sour cream; (8 oz)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Original recipe makes 12




Mix jello & water; add other ingredients. Pour into 8 x 8 glass dish. Put in refrigerator to congeal.

Cream Cheese Topping:

Mix all together until smooth & spread over congealed salad. Refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
