These choc chip cookies are soft and chewy, and not as hard as the traditional ones.
1. Preheat the oven to 180?C (350F / Gas mark 4) and lightly grease a baking tray.
2. Cream the butter and sugr in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and stir to combine.
3. Stir the flour, baking soda and salt together, and add it to the butter mixture. Mix to combine. Fold in the chocolate.
4. Form smallround balls, about 4cm in diameter, and press onto the baking tray.
5. Bake for about 15 minutes. Remove and place on a cooking rack to cool.
