mommyof3boys 1 week agoMy very picky 4 year old son adores these cookies! I make them for him about twice a week and between him, my husband, and my other two sons, they don't last very long! My mother in law is always in awe about how they stay soft and chewy! Will never try another chocolate chip cookie recipe!

A neighbor took some home and as soon as she tried them she called to rave about them and the family had already devoured them. I sent another plate full. My daughters high school friends came over to eat more after she had taken some to lunch!

bmkid 2 months agoI'm very inexperienced in baking or even cooking. But I wanted to give these cookies a try. Came out great! Some notes: Ingredients say baking soda but the directions say baking powder... I used baking soda. I went with 1 cup of butter rather than ? cup and ? cup of oil. And lastly the first batch I made seem to take forever (Well over 10 minutes). After that I raised the temp to 350 instead of 325 and they seem to bake more reasonably close to 10 minutes. Take them out right when you BARELY see brown on the edges and they'll be soft and moist. A bit longer for a crispier cookie.
Jon31 2 months agoThese are really good! My wife and son loved them! The only thing I had an issue with was they were really thin. Other than that they were awesome.
mrBIGAndy 2 months agoJust like mama fixed it. The recipe was well thought out and easy to follow, and above all the outcome tasted great.
