This dish convinced my husband to marry me. Particularly good with some tortellini or ravioli to swish in the sauce.

"Only cooked for one hour at 300. Also, subbed Parmesean for the Romano. Was out of Romano. Also added broccoli to the mix. Turned out very good. "


Ingredients

6 breasts Chicken; boneless, skinless
1/2 cup Flour
3 Eggs
1/2 cup Romano cheese; grated
3 teaspoons Water
1/4 cup Parsley
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Bread crumbs
3 tablespoons Butter
3 teaspoons Vegetable oil
1 cup Cream
1/4 cup Water
1/4 cup Butter
1/2 cup Romano cheese; grated
Mozzarella cheese

Servings  

Preparation

Place flour in one bowl.

Mix together eggs, roamna cheese, water, parsley and salt in second bowl.

Place bread crumbs in third bowl.

Dip chicken in each bowl and then brown in butter and oil.

Place in baking dish.

Combine cream, water, butter and heat until butter melts. Add romano and cook for 5 minutes.

Pour over chicken, top with shredded mozzarella and bake for 2 hours at 250 - 300.

Didn't use the water because I like mine rich. Good recipe. Added a dash of nutmeg.
