Variation on my mom's Thanksgiving Giblet Stuffing
1. Boil gizzards in seasoned chicken broth until tender. Let cool, reserving broth.
2. Saute onion and celery in butter or oil until tender.
3. Slice cooled gizzards and add to onion and celery; continue to sauté until heated.
4. In a sprayed baking dish, add cubed stuffing or bread and mushroom soup and mix.
5. Add sautéed vegetables and gizzards to stuffing. Mix thoroughly, adding seasoned broth if necessary to prevent bread from becoming too dry.
6. Baked in 350 oven until heated thru, adding broth if necessary to keep moist.
