BROIL CORN IN HUSK ABOUT 10 MIN. TURNING OCCASIONALLY, UNTIL TENDER. REMOVE HUSK AND CUT CORN OFF COB, SAVE CORN. HEAT OIL IN SKILLET OVER MED HEAT, ADD CHICKEN (SKINNED & CUT IN 1/2 INCH WIDE STRIPS). BROWN ON ALL SIDES. ADD GARLIC, SALT, PEPPER, STIR. ADD WINE AND BRING TO BOIL. REMOVE CHICKEN W/SLOTTED SPOON. ADD CORN, CREAM, & BELL PEPPER AND LOWER HEAT. SIMMER UNTIL REDUCED TO THIN SAUCE (ABOUT 4 MINUTES). COOK PASTA IN BOILING, SALTED WATER UNTIL JUST TENDER, BUT STILL FIRM. DRAIN. COMBINE CHICKEN, PASTA, 1/2 OF CHEESE, AND BUTTER IN SKILLET AND TOSS UNTIL HEATED THROUGH. ADJUST SEASONING. DIVIDE ONTO WARM PLATES, SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING CHEESE AND CHIVES. SERVE IMMEDIATELY.
