Base recipe is from Rival Crockpot Cookbook. I added tomatoes and potatoes to recipe. When I was in Morocco, a friend's cook made a similar recipe, which he baked in the oven. He served it with rice.
Put carrots, onions, celery and potatoes in bottom of crockpot.
Add chicken.
Top with salt, pepper, liquid, and tomatoes.
Sprinkle basil over the top.
Cook on low 7-10 hours - or high 3 ? hours.
