A great way to cook chicken marinara, quick and extremely easy!


4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves; 1 pound
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
3 garlic cloves; minced
1 teaspoon Dried basil
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 28-ounce j meatless spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup red wine or chicken broth
angel hair pasta or spaghetti; hot cooked

In a nonstick skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray, cook chicken for 6 minutes on each side; remove and keep warm. Add mushrooms, garlic, basil and Italian seasoning to skillet; saut until mushrooms are tender. Stir in spaghetti sauce and wine or broth. Add chicken; cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until heated through. Serve over pasta.

Yield: 4 servings.
