Chicken, mushrooms, pasta
Saute salt and peppered chicken in a large sauce pan ~large enough that you will eventually add all ingredients~ WITH the olive oil and the butter. Saute at medium heat, not to burn the butter while cooking.
Meanwhile, chop garlic, onion and basil; remove chicken from pan; IF need, add a lil more butter and olive oil: add garlic, onion, basil, oregano and cook until tender ~approx. 3 mins~; add all the mushrooms...cook for about 4 mins; ADD VODKA; reduce then add can of tomatoes with the reduced heat; ~Low to medium heat~
Add the chicken tenders in whole OR cut into bite size. Low heat, simmer for about a half hour; Meanwhile, cook ziti or your favorite pasta in large pot until el-donte; drain. Increase the heat of the sauted chicken & mushrooms, add the cream, parmesan, salt and pepper to taste, simmer for about 4 mins then toss the pasta in; turn heat off.....and serve with your favorite salad!

eltacka 3y agoMy family liked it. I used fresh tomatoes and basil from my garden. I also used fresh garlic but didnt have as much as the recipe called for so I used garlic powder.
Findmeol99 4y agoI made this for my family turned out great. I added two cans of dice tomatoes and 1/4cup of vodka with 1/2tsp red crushed peppers 1/2 cup of pram cheese to thicken the sauce.

elenaik 6y agoMine came out a bit dry. Maybe i would saute the chicken a bit less and/or add more cream at the end.
