HEAT oven to 375 deg.
PLACE bread crumbs in shallow dish - and Egg in shallow bowl.
DIP chicken pieces in egg,
COAT with bread crumbs.
HEAT 2 tablespoons oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
ADD half of the chicken and cook for 3 minutes per side.
REMOVE to a 13 x 9 baking dish.
REPEAT with remaining 2 tablespoons of oil and chicken.
SPOON marinara sauce over chicken in dish.
TOP eachpiece with basil leaf
SPRINKLE cheese over chicken.
BAKE at 375 for 10 minutes until bubbly and cheese melts.
SERVE with cooked pasta and marinara sauce
