Try this Chicken Rice Soup recipe, or contribute your own.
In slow cooker, combine chicken, water or broth, vegetables and seasonings.
Cover and cook on low setting 6-8 hours (or on high 4 hours).
Makes 2 quarts, refrigerate leftovers.
Quite right -- 3/4 cups of celery is right.

RoSafford 11y agoI cut the sage and pepper, and my wife thought it was still to spicy. I thought it was perfect.
