This chili is really good plain or used in a frito chili pie!


1 1/2 pounds Ground Round
1 cup Onion; chopped
1/2 cup Water
2 tablespoons Chili Powder*
2 teaspoons Splenda*
2 teaspoons Ground Cumin*
1/2 teaspoon Salt*
2 cloves Garlic; minced
2 cans Kidney Beans; undrained
2 cans Mexican-Style Stewed Tomatoes with Jalapeno Pepper

Original recipe makes 8



Cook the ground round in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until brown. stirring to crumble.

Add chopped onion

and garlic, cooking until onion is tender.

Spray crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.

Place meat mixture into crockpot, followed by remaining ingredients.

Cover with lid, and cook on Low for 4 hours.

Spoon into bowls.
