Preparation

From: becktech@txdirect.net In a large 8 quart pot place all but last 3 ingredients (these are for garnish), and bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer and cook 1 hour. Remove from heat and let cool in pot. This is very important for infusing flavors. Puree and strain through fine sieve. Add scraped vanilla beans, mix. Refrigerate and serve ice cold. Garnish with grapes and bananas. Yield: 6 to 8 servings Posted to recipelu-digest by jeryder@juno.com on Mar 17, 1998
