Ready in 50 minutes

Simple and delicious.

1 pound ground beef or pork; (454 g)
4 cups elbows macaroni
4 cups Water
1 cup soya sauce; (250 mL)
200 g snow peas
2 onions; sliced in half rings
2 cloves garlic; cloves, finely chopped
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

Original recipe makes 6

Arrange the peas snow by cutting off both ends.

Heat the oil in a large pan (I use a wok, it's the best for that kind of recipe), brown the onion slices and the garlic. Add the ground meat and cook until it's brown. Add the peas snow, the macaroni elbows, the water, the soya sauce and sesame seeds. Cover it and simmer at a low-medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionnally, or until the macaroni are soft enough and that the sauce got thicker.

If you like soy sauce, this is for you. Snow peas are not normally added before a long simmer. Non-descript, weekday dinner.
