Made with 100% fruit, this is a much better option than commercial brands of ice cream.
Peel, slice, and freeze bananas. Add all ingredients to the inverted blender cup of blender or use a small food processor. If making fruit blend, you may opt to omit cacao powder. Blend until mixture resembles soft serve ice cream, in consistency, adding filtered water as needed, if mixture is too thick to blend. Eat right away or transfer to small container or bowl and freezer until firmer before serving.
Make larger quantities and keep in the freezer. Scoop like regular ice cream and serve. But just eat one scoop!
NOTE—while higher in calories and natural sugar than fresh fruit or 100% fresh fruit sorbet, if you just have to have ice cream, this is a much better option for the 7 Day Slim Down Plan than commercial brands of ice cream.
