The best brownie recipe I've come across and the frosting is a bonus.
In a medium bowl, combine cocoa and baking soda. Blend in butter. Add water. Stir until thick. Stir in sugar, eggs, and more butter. Stir until smooth. Then add flour, salt, and vanilla. Blend and stir in chocolate chips. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely in pan.
Frosting:
Combine 6 tablespoons of butter (softened), 1/2 cup cocoa, 2-2/3 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 cup milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Stir over medium heat until thick and smooth. Drizzle over brownies.
