These low-fat chocolate chip cookies are made with bananas.

"I would describe these as banana bread cookies. The outside is crisp like a cookie, but the inside is soft like banana bread. The mix forms more of a sticky batter than a dough which makes it a little difficult to spoon onto the pan. Other than that, it's an easy recipe to make and very delicious! I will definitely make these again and recommend it to others. "

Make sure you use a very ripe banana. I followed the recipe almost to a tee, except for butter. I used olive oil margarine instead. Just about 3/8 of a cup of chocolate chip was good enough. It isn't very sweet, which is good!

I add two bananas just to get the flavour right, and I never add all the sugar it calls for. They taste like muffin tops and stay soft for a week. At my house we call them banana bombs, they are awesome !

Making them right now, if the cookies are half as good as the batter, they will be awesome!!! Lol

Good as far as soft cookies go. All 5 of my boys ate them so can't complain. One said that they tasted a bit like subway cookies.

I added more sugar and an extra banana, because of all the reviews it was great! I also added pecans!

These cookies were barely ok. Definitely will not make again. Not sweet enough to be considered a cookie.
