Just like a warm chocolate chip cookie

"Did take longer to bake than expected (about 1 1/2 hours) but this was so easy and absolutely delicious. A major hit with my husband, my 3 kids and their friends."

3 Eggs
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter (melted and cooled)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 unbaked pie crust

Original recipe makes 8 Servings



Beat Eggs until foamy. Beat in sugars, flour, butter, oil & vanilla until well blended.

Stir in chips, pour into pie shell

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours

Waste of ingredients. Followed recipe exactly, ended up with a pie with 3 layers. chocolate pieces all sunk to the bottom and very top was some weird thin meringue type thing. Cooked it to exact time, tooth pick came out clean at 1 hr but still went whole time and it was liquid on inside.

Pretty good, there was a a weird layer on the top but the rest was a really good flavor

The first time I made this I didn't let the butter cool enough and it ruined it. So make sure it's cooled thoroughly.

I was expecting something better. This took forever to bake and would cook! When it was finally done I tried a piece, pretty good!

Not impressed at all. Mine took a lot longer than the 1.25 hours to bake.

Very tasty, just the sweet treat I was craving. I baked at 350F for 1 hr, needed another 5 mins possibly. Gooey with a thin, crackly, perfect top crust.

I would suggest using a deep dish pie crust!! Overall very yummy and very sweet!
