A.K.A. Matt's Richer Than a Penny Birthday Cake
A WHOLE lot of chocolate in one scrumptious cake
TO MAKE THE CHOCOLATE CAKE:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Grease & flour a 10" Bundt pan. VERY IMPORTANT! Otherwise the cake comes out in pieces!
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, milk, oil, water & eggs. BEAAT FOR FOUR MINUTES!
Then mix in the 2 cups of chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. COOL 10 MINUTES IN THE PAN. Then, turn onto a wire rack and cool completely.
TO MAKE THE CHOCOLATE GLAZE:
Melt 6 tablespoons butter and 1 cup chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave oven.
Stir until smooth & drizzle over cake.
Due to the richness of this cake, you need to have milk and ice cream on hand!
