Best and Easiest soup ever

"I loved this recipe, my fiancé and his son said it was the best chicken noodle soup ever!! I made double to freeze away for lunches and dinners, as well as omitting the mushrooms and parsley. Instead I added Italian seasoning and chili pepper flakes for a extra kick!! Just awesome, thanks."

6 cups Chicken broth
3 medium carrots; sliced
2 medium stalks Celery; sliced
1 medium Onion
1 tin Mushrooms
1 pound Cooked chicken breasts; cut in chunks
1 cup Fusilli pasta; cooked
1/4 cup Fresh parsley

Original recipe makes 8 Servings



Combine first 6 ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or till vegetables are tender.

Add parsley and simmer 10 minutes longer.

Add cooked fusilli or your favorite pasta and serve.

I hate people who type in ratings, when they haven’t even tried it. But I am so excited about this recipe, because it doesn’t have a double buttload of butter and cream. I am on a heart diet and it is so hard to cook healthy without having to eat only blaa food. I’m tired of trying to thicken dishes with flour. I can hang wallpaper with it, but will only thicken food without contributing any richness.

Was a really nice and easy soup to make. I added some chilli sauce for extra flavour and used egg noodles. Will definitely be cooking this again

This is a simply delicious soup. My family is not crazy about parsley, so I left that off. It turned out great, and was easy to make.

Was a simple recipe to make even with very little cooking experience. We used egg noodles and added more by eye then recommended and some water to the broth to reduce the taste of sodium and left out the mushrooms and parsley. Would make again.

Used slightly less onions and celery. Replaced noodles suggested with basic egg noodles. Also added some garlic salt at the end. It was the perfect touch. Thanks!

I added bullion cubes & water and used Trader Joe's everyday spice (7turns). I also increased the vegetables and didn't add the noodles. It was just what I was looking for. Thanks!

I added fresh spinach at the end instead of parsley. I also sautéed the veggies before adding the broth. It was very good.
