Best and Easiest soup ever

"I loved this recipe, my fiancé and his son said it was the best chicken noodle soup ever!! I made double to freeze away for lunches and dinners, as well as omitting the mushrooms and parsley. Instead I added Italian seasoning and chili pepper flakes for a extra kick!! Just awesome, thanks."

Ingredients

Are you making this? 
6 cups Chicken broth
3 medium carrots; sliced
2 medium stalks Celery; sliced
1 medium Onion
1 tin Mushrooms
1 pound Cooked chicken breasts; cut in chunks
1 cup Fusilli pasta
1/4 cup Fresh parsley

Original recipe makes 8 Servings

Servings  

Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or till vegetables are tender.

Add parsley and simmer 10 minutes longer.

Add cooked fusilli or your favorite pasta and serve.

Was a simple recipe to make even with very little cooking experience. We used egg noodles and added more by eye then recommended and some water to the broth to reduce the taste of sodium and left out the mushrooms and parsley. Would make again.

Used slightly less onions and celery. Replaced noodles suggested with basic egg noodles. Also added some garlic salt at the end. It was the perfect touch. Thanks!

I added bullion cubes & water and used Trader Joe's everyday spice (7turns). I also increased the vegetables and didn't add the noodles. It was just what I was looking for. Thanks!

I added fresh spinach at the end instead of parsley. I also sautéed the veggies before adding the broth. It was very good.

So quick and easy. I made this for my whole family at lunch time and all bowls may as well have been licked clean! Lovely flavour, beautiful mix of ingredients and healthy too. Will definitely be makingagain

This was a great recipe! I left out the mushrooms since my kids don't like them, used rotini mushrooms, and served with homemade wheat bread... both of my picky eater kids LOVED it! Thank you!

This was pretty good. I added a tbs of coconut curry sauce just because I had it and it seemed like a good idea at the time. delish! I used leftover chicken pastry for my chicken and 'noodles.' great way to disguise leftovers.
