Wiccan_Lager 4y agoholy crap. absolute bliss. id give this a million stars. the pecan cookies add such an awesome flavor on top of the perfectly sweetened apple filling. im probably making it agan tomorrow night. Bravo to the chef! only thing was that 4 teaspoons of butter for the toppiing didnt seem like enough so i assumed the person meant 4 tablespoons.
Dollpartz 4y agoLove the topping! Only used 1Tbl flour instead of 2. Will make again.
MostBeautiful_Firey1 4y agoyou may decide to add more sugar or spices to taste. make sure to cut apples into thin slices in order too ensure a soft texture. may need to bake a little longer than 10-15. just depends on depth of your pie pan [I posted this recipe.]
