This one only takes a couple hours vs the normal cook all day in the crock pot.
In large skillet, saute carrots in 1 tb oil until crisp tender; remove and set aside. Cut meat into pieces and add to remaining oil in skillet. Cook until browned on both sides. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar and oregano; cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add onion, celery, mushrooms and carrots. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender. The carrots in the ingredient list interested me so I thought I would give it a try. Tasted pretty good. One I will make again.
