In a good Teflon pan melt the coconut oil so that almost the whole bottom is covered. Place one kernel in the oil and when it pops, take out and put in the 1/2 cup popcorn kernels and pour the sugar over. Stir around a little and lay it out so it is one layer of kernels. Put the lid on and let it pop. When it has popped hurry and take it off the stove and quickly pour in a bowl. Add butter and salt. Let it cool and break up chunks and serve.
