An easy and tasty morning treat
Sift into bowl
-2 cups flour
-2t powder
-1t cinnamon
-2/3 cup br. sugar
-1/4t salt
-2/3 cup gr. sugar
-2T instant coffee
Cut in
-1/3 cup butter
-1/3 cup shortening
Mix until crumbly. Remove 1 cup of crumbly mixture and set aside.
To remainder, add
-1 egg
-2/3 cup milk
-1/8t soda
Put in greased 8x8 pan. Top with remaining dry mix and chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes
