This sweet glaze makes an irresistible candied coating on these tender ribs.
In a large soup pot, bring ribs and Coke to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Transfer ribs to a foil lined cookie sheet.
Mix remaining ingredients into Coke. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Brush sauce onto ribs. Bake in preheated over at 300 for 45 minutes and baste every 10 minutes.
Preheat grill for 10 minutes. Add ribs and baste and cook until crisp (approximately 10 minutes).
I used apple wood chips in the BBQ while preheated. It added an extra punch of flavour.
I also added some cornstarch to the sauce to try and thicken it up a bit.
