Melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sautee. Stir in flour. Add milk, stirring with a whisk.
Add warmed chicken and corn. Add remaining ingredients (if using canned mushrooms, reduce to 4 oz. and add now).
Simmer for 15 minutes and serve with fresh green onions.
